City of Casey Youth Services is searching for young creatives to be part of an Iso Art project.
The community project involves the creation of a mural and online gallery.
Young people aged under 25 are encouraged to submit artwork made from the comfort of their own homes.
The artwork can be anything – a painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, poetry.
It should be in response to the following themes: Gratitude, Hope and Community.
Artworks are being accepted now.
Here’s how to get involved:
– Scan or take a photo of your artwork and send it through to Eden at ecarell@casey.vic.gov.au
– You can include an artist’s statement, a title, a few words or a message you would like to share along with your artworkAll art will be added to the online gallery via THIS PAGE. Eventually it will be compiled into three books, to be kept at Youth Information Centres.
Outlines of some of the artworks will be traced onto three large mural boards, with each board representing one of the themes.
It’s expected that the mural will be unveiled 2- 15 September.
The mural will be displayed at the Narre Warren Youth Information Centre.
