    • Put on your party hat for a ‘funtastic’ time as Victoria’s most exciting theme park turns one, celebrating an epic year filled with water thrills, amazing wildlife adventures, exhilarating rides and family fun.

Families near and far are invited to celebrate Gumbuya World’s first birthday, with an abundance of outdoor fun and entertainment for people of all ages.

Visitors across the weekend of Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December will be treated to a delicious themed birthday cake, a summer BBQ and special guest appearances, providing fun and memories for the whole family.

As part of the birthday weekend celebrations, Gumbuya World will unveil the theme park’s exciting new mascot, Gumbo. Australian icon Mike Brady has also penned Gumbuya World’s new jingle, which was recently launched in time for summer.

Only 50 minutes south east of Melbourne, the theme park offers an epic adventure fit for the whole family.

There are four worlds to explore; Oasis Springs, Oz Adventure, Outback Explorers and Wildlife Trail.

Gumbuya World reopened in December 2017 following a multi-million dollar redevelopment. It is the vision of a group of Victorian entrepreneurs consisting of Gerry Ryan, Wal Pisciotta, Adam Campbell, Brett
Murray, and Ray and Ron Weinzierl, who wanted to reimagine the tourist favourite they enjoyed with their families when they were younger, and create a legacy of fun and imagination for future generations.
