SCIENCE ON THE MOVE
The Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies Centre on Phillip Island is the place to be for all things science and fun.
Questacon’s Science on the Move travelling exhibition challenges you to engage your mind and your body.
Discover principles of light; music and sound; human biology; ecology and the environment; and so much more as you play and interact with the intriguing and fun 35 hands-on experiences across 23 separate exhibits.
Science on the Move will be open daily over the summer break until 28 January 2019.
Entry is free with an entry ticket to the Antarctic Journey or a great value 4 Parks Pass.

NEW YEAR’S EVE CRAFT FUN
A free craft activity where kids can get ready for 2019!

CRANBOURNE TROTS KIDS DAY OUT
Keep the kids entertained at the Cranbourne Harness Club’s annual Kids Race Day.
There will be dodgem Cars, Kelly Sports Australia, an animal farm, pony rides, tea cup ride, face painters and they are all free!
The event runs from 12pm-5pm.
Adults: $10 | Concession: $7 | Kids U18: FREE

The popular pushbike ride days at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit returning for five days over the summer holidays.
Organise your family and friends and get your bikes out to take in the views of the island’s magnificent coastline from the Grand Prix Circuit.
The ride has proven popular with many family groups as it is offers a very safe riding environment for smaller kids.
Sunday 30 December, 10am – 1pm
Thursday 3 January, 5.30pm – 7.30pm
Saturday 5 January 10am – 1pm
Tuesday 8 January 5.30pm – 7.30pm
Thursday 10 January 5.30pm to 7.30pm
There is no need to book. Tickets are available all day, or just turn up 30 minutes prior to the session at the Visitors Centre (with your own bike and helmet) to purchase your ticket.

TURN THE TIDE
Explorers won’t want to miss the Turn the Tide program, a series of free holiday activities on the island run by Nature Parks’ Rangers on Phillip Island.
Turn the Tide provides a unique opportunity to join one of the knowledgeable and friendly rangers and head into the night for a Koala Prowl, a Shearwater Sunset tour or a Rockpool Spotlight.

KIDS NIGHT OUT, CRANBOURNE TURF CLUB
Kids Night Out features four hours of free kids activities, giveaways, show bags and much more as Kelly Sport offers the ultimate night of summer school holidays action. While the children are enjoying rides and activities, the big kids can enjoy music and entertainment trackside, that will keep the party going late into the evening. Get up close and personal with jockeys and trainers while enjoying all of the racing action.

CARDINIA SHIRE KIDS NIGHT OUT
This event offers summer school holiday action and activities to keep the kids entertained, while the adults can enjoy the relaxed country racing action. Activities include the ‘Win A Bike’ kids competition, face painting, pony rides, animal farm, jumping castle and Kelly Sports activities.

19 JANUARY
OCEAN SOUNDS MUSIC FESTIVAL
Bring a a picnic rug, good friends and good vibes to this family-friendly all-day music festival on Churchill Island.
Apart from its stellar musical line-up featuring Dan Sultan, the Pierce Brothers, and Jen Cloher (just to name a few), Ocean Sounds will also showcase local wines and cheeses and gourmet food vans.
The festival runs from midday to 10pm.
Children 12 and under are admitted free to this event. Tickets for children aged between 13 and 17 are $35. Adult tickets are $65.
23-24 JANUARY
STORYTIME BALLET: COPPELIA
The Australian Ballet are bringing back their Storytime Ballet, designed just for kids. See Coppélia – a sparkling tale of magic and mischief, where all is not what it seems.
