Have you always wanted to know how to wash the largest land mammal in the world?

Now you can spend all summer long finding out how.

Stop past the barn every day at 9am or 11am to find out or catch the twice-daily Keeper Talk.

Kids under 16 years old receive free entry every day of the summer school holidays too!*

Asian Elephant calf Mali made history in 2010 as the first female elephant calf born in Australia, and ever since she has captured the hearts of Melburnians. Our little darling will be celebrating her seventh birthday in January 2017, so be sure to come back to see just how tall she has grown. These days, she’s just as tall as the others in the herd so look for the elephant with the squiggly tail!

These gentle giants love the warmer weather too, Mali and the gang will be cooling off and enjoying a swim in the waterhole of the elephant paddock this summer.

See you soon at the zoo for elephant play time and lots of summer fun!

Save on your entry ticket by joining our zoo family, simply switch to a Zoo Membership to received unlimited entry all year round, prices start from just $8 per month.

*Kids under 16 years old visit free during Victorian school holidays, Victoria public holidays and on weekends!
