Parents of Wiggle fans rejoice – the popular children’s music group has announced a new tour.
The Wiggle Pop! Big Show tour includes 17 dates across Australia, from November 10 to December 20.
In great news for Melbourne fans, The Wiggles will play two shows at Rod Laver Arena (December 1 and 2).
Emma Watkins, who wears Yellow and is known as Emma Wiggle, is expected to perform despite taking a recent break so she could undergo surgery to help alleviate her endometriosis symptoms.
She performed with the rest of the group – Anthony (Blue), Lachy (Purple) and Simon (Red) – on Channel 7’s Sunrise when the tour was announced on Thursday 19 July.
The much-loved outfit will have their pint-sized audiences singing and dancing along with their Wiggly friends Dorothy, Wags, Henry, Captain Feathersword and Santa during the highly anticipated shows.
The group will finish touring northern Australia and perform in Canada before embarking on The Wiggle Pop! Big Show tour.
If you want to take the kids along to see the much-loved group, you best get a wiggle on. Tickets for the show, which the outfit promises will be their biggest yet, are expected to sell-out quickly.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday 26 July.
