Driven by diversity

Bush kinder is another program on offer.

Astra Early Learning Narre Warren South provides a caring, loving, fun and friendly place for children and families to come each day.

The centre opened in April last year, and offers three and four-year-old kinder programs run by bachelor-qualified teachers.

Centre manager Vanda Naidu is driven by “the diverse community and our unique environment”.

“We welcome all families, educators, members of the community and children with all abilities, learning styles, cultures, backgrounds and family dynamics,” she said.

“We aim to inspire and educate children each day and it is the utmost importance to us to teach and respect the multitude of cultures and backgrounds that make up our Astra Early Learning Centre.

“We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and respect that they are the traditional owners of the land.”

Astra Early Learning Narre Warren South runs music and sport incursions, clay workshops, a yoga and meditation program in its mindfulness room, bush kinder, and school holiday programs.

An on-site cook prepares nutritious meals and snacks, and the centre has spacious rooms, built-for-purpose amenities, and small class sizes.

“Our educator team is passionate, nurturing and knowledgeable, and strives to form strong relationships with the families and the children from day one,” Vanda said.

“Listening and learning from families about who each child is and how they can help them grow and learn.”

Astra Early Learning Narre Warren South is at 75 Shrives Road, Narre Warren South and is open 7am to 6.30pm.
