Does your teenager get an attack of the boredoms during the school holidays? Than we may have the answer to solve all their problems.
Tell your teen to try out splat ball, join a trip to Fun Galore or the Jurassic World exhibition, see a magic show or learn some art and craft as part of Casey Council’s Winter Teenage School Holiday Program. The program is designed for young people of all abilities aged between 12 and 17 years and offers fun, age-appropriate activities at reasonable prices.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Sam Aziz encouraged young people to check out the program, which runs between Monday 27 June and Friday 8 July. “The program engages young people over the holiday period and provides them with opportunities to get out and about locally and across Melbourne, build independence and develop friendships with others in the community,” Cr Aziz said. “The winter program offers an exciting line-up of activities including ice skating, a screen printing workshop, an arts and craft afternoon, splat ball, which is similar to paint ball but uses lower powered paint guns, a soccer tournament, dance day and a magic show. The program also features trips to Galactic Circus for two-hours of unlimited gaming, to Fun Galore for a day of go-karting, laser tag, mini golf and arcade games and to the Melbourne Museum for the Jurassic World exhibition. Parents are encouraged to book early as spaces are limited due to the popularity of the program – so don’t miss out.”
Transportation to and from most holiday program activities is available and designated pick up and drop off points are located in Cranbourne, Hampton Park, Narre Warren, Endeavour Hills and Doveton. All activities are supervised by qualified Council Youth Services Officers, and are smoke, drug and alcohol free.
