Bunjil Place is serving up full-throttle-fun this summer, with a bucket-and-spade load of entertainment, fun and games for kids and families.
It’s no surprise that Bunjil Place is becoming everyone’s favourite place. With an action-packed program of fun, family-friendly activities plus the Plaza water fountains, Library, Café, Casey ARC and playground nearby, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained for hours.
This summer Bunjil Place is bringing live entertainment on stage with radical urban circus 360 ALLSTARS and slapstick comedy 3 Speed Crunch Box Rebooted in the Theatre.
Comedian Josh Earl will be performing his stand-up show for kids, My Family’s Weirder Than Your Family, in the Studio.
The Australian Ballet will be returning to the Bunjil Place Theatre with their production of Storytime Ballet: Coppélia, created especially for kids aged 3 and up.
Budding young artists will love the free craft workshops, NGV Kids on Tour art play and the Draw A Fuzzy Friend workshop led by illustrator Kat Chadwick.
Kids can burn off some energy while learning new skills at the free circus tricks workshops after school on Mondays in December.
There’s also a series of free 360 ALLSTARS Workshops from 9 – 11 January, covering breakdancing, BMX flatlanding, basketball freestyling and more.
Fans of animated movies will enjoy the free January anime series, with six Studio Ghibli anime films being shown on the big outdoor screen. The big screen fun continues with free Friday Night Flicks throughout February and March – films include kids’ favourites Coco and Sing.
