Cardinia Shire Kids Night Out
Combining the sights and sounds of kids running on the front lawn with those of the hoofbeats on the horse track, Cardinia Shire Kids Night Out has quickly established itself as one of the must-attend annual family events in the region.
Held on Thursday January 17, the event offers summer school holiday action and activities to keep the kids entertained while the adults can enjoy the relaxed country racing action.
Kids are sure to be entertained by the long long list of activities which include the ‘Win A Bike’ kids competition, face painting, pony rides, animal farm, jumping castle and Kelly Sports activities.
At this year’s event, the Pakenham Racing Club is excited to have Zoologist Chris Humphrey’s Wild Action Zoo team bring their furry and scaly friends. Kids can interact with several shows on the night.
Racegoers are encouraged to embrace country casual; where you can enjoy backing a winner from the spacious lawn and bar areas or try taking on the local bookmakers on course.
With plenty of seating and the covered Deck Bar, there is everything for those looking to watch the races outside.
Parking is FREE and dining packages are available with great views of the racetrack.
